6. RACE FORMAT, STARTING ORDER, RULES ON THE TRACK

6.1. All Filter Time Trial runs use the individual time trial format. Runners will start the race one by one with 15 second intervals.

6.2. The rules on the track are:

The race starts on the starting ramp in the race centre. Timekeeping begins in front of the ramp when the runner passes by the chip readers.
The same chip readers are used to determine the finish time - the runners end the race on the same starting ramp.
Runners must stay on the same side of the road for the whole race - in the direction of traffic for the first part of the race and against the direction of traffic after the turning point.

7. REGISTRATION AND FEES

7.1. Registration is open online at www.aerobike.ee and at the registration desk on the day of the race (cash only).

7.2. The registration fees for 2020 are below.

Round Price Round ends
Christmas price for whole series 60€ 15.01.2021
Spring price for whole series 75€ 15.04.2021
Pre-registration for single race 15€ Monday of race week
Race day registration 20€ When registration desk closes

7.3. The prices are the same for all age groups. There are no age-based discounts.

7.4. Race day registrations are cash only and apply only to the race taking place that day.

7.5. Please note that a discounted price applies to pre-registrations and these registrations cannot be cancelled or transferred to a different event or a different person.

7.6. The price of race day registration is the base price. Registering on the day of the race eliminates the risk of not being able to participate in the race. With pre-registration there is always a possibility that plans change and a runner won't be able to participate. Due to this we offer a discounted price for those who register in advance. The earlier you register, the higher the risk of not being able to come to the race - therefore a greater discount! Because of the aforementioned reasons, pre-registrations cannot be refunded or transferred to a different event regardless of why someone was unable to participate.

8. THE PARTICIPATION FEE INCLUDES

• A marked and guarded race track
• Timekeeping and results
• Race numbers that are valid for the entire season (replacements can be purchased in the race centre)
• Medical aid in the race centre
• Awards for the fastest runners in the series
• Race commentary
• Photos of the event
• A refreshing drink at the finish
• Bag hold for storing your valuables
• A trampoline for children (not in bad weather)

9. RACE NUMBERS AND TIMING CHIPS

9.1. Race numbers and timing chips are used in the Filter Time Trial Cup for timekeeping.

9.2. When participating for the first time in a season, every runner will get a race number and a timing chip from the registration desk. These are valid throughout the season.

9.3. The first race number is free. A 20€ deposit must be paid for the timing chip - this deposit is returned to the person when the chip is returned to the organisers. If the race number has been lost or forgotten, a replacement can be purchased for 5€. If the timing chip has been lost or forgotten, a replacement can be rented for a 20€ deposit.

9.4.  The race number must be attached to the runner's lower back so that it is clearly visible from behind. The chip should be placed around the right ankle just above the shoe. If the runner cannot be identified due to an incorrectly attached number or chip, a place in the results cannot be guaranteed.

9.5. It is mandatory to use the unique Filter race numbers. Using DIY numbers or ones from other competitions is prohibited even if the number itself matches the number assigned to the runner.

10. CATERING AND LITTERING

10.1. The organisers of Filter Time Trial Cup do not provide catering to the participants.

10.2. There are no litter zones on the track. Anyone littering on the race track will be disqualified.

10.4. There are labeled recycling and trash bags in the race centre, located around the warm-up tent.

11. MEDICAL AID

11.1. First aid can be provided by a paramedic in the race centre.

12. RANKINGS

12.1. Stage results are based on finish times. Series overall results are based on points earned from stages.

12.2. In the overall classification, the five highest stage scores are taken into account, the lowest score is not taken into account. If a runner has not finished all races in the series, the missing score won't be taken into account. The lowest score of every runner will not be taken into account after Stage 3.

12.3. Individual points are given to men based on the men's overall results and to women based on the women's overall results. Age group rankings are determined by separating all runners of a certain age group from the general classification results.

12.4. Points are based on the general classification results. The points system is below.

14. KULLAPADA

At the end of the season, a variety of prizes will be given to the participants and all eligible participants are guaranteed a prize.
