Description of the race track:

The Kuusalu Road Race runs along the winding roads of Lahemaa surrounded by forests, passing through old villages and manor lands. In general it is a typical North Estonian road race without many climbs, but this does not mean that the race profile is flat. In the last third of the race the course descends the North Estonian limestone cliff by Tsitre hill and then goes uphill again in the last 5 kilometres. The long and at first imperceptible ascent culminates in a moderately steep uphill finish at Kolga Manor. A large part of the circuit is surrounded by beautiful pine forests and the roads are mostly rather winding. Due to this crosswinds shouldn't be a significant issue on this course. The short distance race covers this distance once, the long distance race covers it twice, crossing the finish line when starting the second lap.
