The full inline marathon is sport, competition and a real challenge. The inline marathon requires less effort than other endurance sport marathons, but it still demands training and group racing skills as it's much easier to skate together! At the full marathon you might get to race with some world champions as there are participants from over 10 different countries. This doesn't mean the marathon is only for the professionals; it is also for regular people who enjoy inline skating as a fun sporty change to their usual responsibilities. The marathon is doable for everyone! This is why the race track is safe and has no sharp turns or steep descents and climbs. The race track is a road that's closed to general traffic - this is safer than an evening roll on a local pathway. There will be 2 hour pacesetters present who will help less experienced skaters finish the race at a suitable pace.
